Our aim is to reduce both the carbon footprint of our sites and the footprint of your products.
A variety of factors play a role in the realisation of these goals. On the one hand, we are already implementing many measures to reduce our emissions on site. These include the optimisation of production processes, the use of 100% green electricity throughout the company, supplemented by decentralised energy generation through our own onsite photovoltaic system. On the other hand, we are constantly expanding our portfolio to include products from more sustainable sources, such as upcycled raw materials.

In our day-to-day operations, we take a variety of measures to ensure the highest standards of occupational safety and environmental protection. Our storage and production areas consistently fulfil all the requirements of the Water Resources Act, which underlines our commitment to sustainable and safe operations.
All storage and production areas are secured by adequate safety measures and offer the greatest possible protection for employees and the environment. This includes the distillation area. Here, the outgoing air is completely neutralised by catalytic afterburning.
We use sustainable packaging made from renewable raw materials in order to conserve natural resources, save energy and reduce CO2.
For example, our samples are shipped in sustainable packaging containing 30% grass. The effects are no land consumption, conservation of resources, reduction of CO2 emissions and less water and energy consumption.
When developing our high-quality products, we use harmonised processes to ensure the careful use of available resources.
Whether the implemented sustainability processes fulfil the requirements is not only checked internally, but also externally. EcoVadis currently honours our achievements in the area of sustainability with a silver medal, which places us in the top 11% of all companies assessed.
It goes without saying that our employees are an integral part of this process. We are working to achieve the highest level of environmental awareness. We also involve our suppliers in these activities along the entire supply chain. As a Sedex member, our customers are also able to request more detailed information on our working conditions via this platform.
